Favorite Things Thursday Link-Up: Favorite Shoes in my Closet

I LOVE Melanie's idea for this week's Favorite Things Thursday link-up.  As you (and she) know, I adore a cute pair of shoes.  Today's challenge is to share my favorite shoes, but the catch is that they have to be from my closet.  This is a toughie, because I actually really love all of my shoes, including my one pair of tennis shoes.  :)

So, here are the two runners-up, followed by most favorite pair of shoes (that I own).  Beware, though, my memory with shoes is good, so I usually have a background story for each pair.


These leopard print shoes came from Marshall's in New Hampshire (Linds and I spent a lot of time shopping there last summer--no sales tax in NH--while Jason was at a nerd convention--aka Social Studies conference--in Lowell/Boston, Massachusetts.)  I remember purchasing them because they were only $10.  I love a good deal.  :)

 

These Elle shoes came from Kohl's, were on sale, and I got free shipping.  They are perfect for summer (LOVE the color), and they are actually pretty comfy (the platform helps).

 AND THE WINNER OF FAVORITE SHOE IS...

These shoes are not only my favorite because they are so different and fun, but also because they were an amazing steal.  I got these L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani shoes at the Gap Outlet (weird, I know) in northern Kentucky for only $16!  I am definitely not an edgy girl when it comes to fashion, but these shoes make me feel a little bit hip.  :)
