6 Months

Six months, half a year, have passed since London Elise was born.  This is difficult to believe.

I have missed blogging and sharing our lives, but with two kids, (literally) becoming a soccer mom, school starting back, and balancing all of mine and Jason's school and church activities, blogging has sadly taken a back seat.  I hope I can get caught up and in a groove soon, and I can make more time to write and post photos.  It's a creative outlet I don't want to lose.

Since 5 months, many things have changed:  London can sit up, for short periods, completely on her own, she can roll completely across any room, and she has, in the last few days, learned how to get up on all fours, so it won't be long before she is crawling.  Things in our house will get even more interesting then.  :)

At her 6 month check-up, London was 17 pounds, 8 ounces, and 26 1/2 inches long, which puts her 75th percentile on both weight and length.

She is still the happiest, smiliest baby.  She loves everyone and everything, and rarely is fussy.  She sleeps very well, and since starting solids the day after turning 6 months old (I am about a week and a half late in posting this.) she has loved every food we have tried: sweet potatoes, peas, and avocado.

Here is our sweet girl this month:

Even though she has only been with us for six seemingly short months, I cannot remember life without London.  She's such a joy.  Happy 6 months, London Elise!
